“TIMELY ALERT III” Full Scale Exercise (FSX) with a Terrorist Chemical Release Scenario, Fort Monmouth, July 23, 2002

Exercise “Timely Alert III” was a Counter-Terrorism Force Protection Exercise conducted on July 23-24, 2002 by The James Thomas Group.  Using a terrorist chemical release scenario, the exercise involved an FSE to evaluate the Fort’s WMD Incident Management Procedures, Barrier Plan, Random Anti-Terrorism Measures, Crisis Management Plan, and Building Evacuation Plan.  The scenario of the FSE led to a highly intensive Table Top Exercise (TTX) with the NJ, Monmnouth County, and eight local Offices of Emergency Management, FEMA, and the FBI to evaluate coordinated emergency planning procedures and overall planning coordination, integration, and response.  Below are pictures from the FSE.
