The Unexpected. It can happen at any time, at any place, to anyone. Is your community or your business prepared?
It is not a matter of if, but a certainty of when.
At The James Thomas Group, we will assist your community or business safeguard the lives of its citizens from natural, technological, and human-caused disasters. While we cannot stop these disasters from occurring, we can limit their impact and reduce property damage by fostering better preparedness for emergencies, not if, but when the situation calls for it.
You know your Director of Public Safety will be on the scene and will quickly have the situation under control because your community has a plan for this type of disaster… or does it? You know time is critical in this type of situation and lives are at stake.
If there is a plan, is it recent and does it work? Has it been validated and updated? Do your people know what to do? Are they doing the right thing?
Whether a natural disaster, environmental incident, or act of domestic terrorism, citizens in every community in our nation want to know they have the people and assets to protect and defend them. In almost every case, one thing is true: the community has the people and assets!
What is also true is that most communities do not have an integrated plan to maximize the use of their people and assets. Many of the plans that exist are gathering dust on shelves because the community does not have the time or the expertise to review, validate, and update these plans to the comprehensive level needed today.
The loss of life and property, the unrelenting media coverage, and the litigation that follows because the community wasn’t ready is of grave concern to all community leaders and administrators.
We have the expertise, the time, and the know-how to assist your community at any level: writing your plans, validating them, revising them, and integrating them. With over 20 years of expertise in emergency management and contingency planning, and with an expert team in the area of law enforcement, disaster recovery, fire fighting, counter-terrorism, physical and information security, emergency medical services, and environmental safety, The James Thomas Group can assist you with the plans you need to meet your requirements today, tomorrow, and into the future.
